The Texas Musical Theatre Workshop provides an artistically challenging and supportive experience for our participating student artists in a beautiful and diverse college environment. We know that a lot of bonding and valuable creative time happens during the off hours, and TXMTW has carefully designed your schedule for maximum learning, enjoyment and safety.
Housing and Dining Information
TXMTW students spend their two-week stay at a UT dorm – air-conditioned residential complexes such as Jester or San Jacinto – with mail and onsite food service, a campus store and many other features to meet their basic needs. Depending on the dorm, bathrooms may be private or community, and students will share a room with a fellow TXMTW student artist.
Students will be accompanied and supervised at all times by TXMTW Interns who are college students working under the supervision of the TXMTW Residential Director.
Meals are served cafeteria-style/all-you-care-to-eat and are designed to accommodate students’ eating preferences including vegetarians, vegans and those with food allergies to nuts, gluten and lactose.
