Invest in Your Future!

This summer, spend two weeks in the heart of Austin, Texas, learning from Broadway professionals, honing your skills and preparing for college musical theatre program auditions.

TXMTW is open to rising high school freshmen through graduating seniors. You’ll benefit from this intense training and experience regardless of where you plan to attend college.

Two Weeks of Broadway Training & Fun

Alongside other high school students from across the nation, you’ll train in acting, singing, dancing and auditioning in the exceptional facilities at The University of Texas. The dates of Texas Musical Theatre Workshop 2019 are June 8-22. Our summer intensive includes a headshot photo shoot for every camper and information sessions on preparing resumes and filming effective pre-screening auditions, plus opportunities for one-on-one voice and audition rep coaching.

How to Attend

You don’t have to audition for Texas Musical Theatre Workshop. In fact, we’re here to teach YOU how to give a great audition, so simply register online. Check back in mid-November when registration opens. This experience is limited to 72 students each year! Secure your spot in camp by registering and either paying a deposit or the full tuition. Once registered you’ll be able to create a student profile and check in on your registration status.

This dynamic experience will celebrate your current skills and show you how to take them to the next level, building the knowledge and confidence you need to help you stand out at auditions. All-inclusive tuition (housing for two weeks at The University of Texas plus all meals and scheduled classes and activities) for this two-week summer intensive is $2,750.

Austin Area Commuters

For Austin-area commuter students NOT staying on campus, the cost is $2,450, which includes lunches and evening meals when students are on campus past 6pm for special activities.

“I have nothing but positive feedback and admiration for this program. The individual care and focus given to the students to help them find their gifts, improve on them, network and plan for the future was outstanding.” Parent of a Student Artist
