Mary Anna Dennard

Mary Anna Dennard is a nationally recognized college audition coach and the author of the book I GOT IN! The Ultimate College Audition Guide For Acting And Musical Theatre. You might recognize her name from her contributions to the New York Times theatre section and Theatermania. She also conducts master classes throughout the country and serves as a guest instructor for the Broadway Dreams Foundation, Broadway Teachers Workshop and The Performing Arts Project.
She received her training at The American Conservatory Theatre in San Francisco and in 1980 began working as a casting director in Los Angeles. Mary Anna’s fifteen years of casting credits have garnered Clios, Emmys, a Peabody Award, and Academy Awards.
Dubbed “The Princeton Review For College Theatre Auditions” since 2000, Mary Anna has coached hundreds of high school students all over the country who have been accepted into the most prestigious college programs in the US and Europe. Many have gone on to have successful careers in the recording industry, on TV, in movies and on Broadway.
