J. Quinton Johnson

J. Quinton Johnson currently stars as HERCULES MULLIGAN/JAMES MADISON in Hamilton on Broadway. He made his professional debut in Richard Linklater’s Annapurna/Paramount feature EVERYBODY WANTS SOME!! opposite Blake Jenner and Zoey Deutch last year. Linklater discovered Quinton at the University of Texas in Austin. He then went on to star in ABC’s musical reboot of DIRTY DANCING as Sarah Hyland’s love interest “Marco” as well as recurring in Pierce Brosnan’s AMC series THE SON as “Neptune.” Just before jumping into the Broadway cast of Hamilton, Quinton completed filming another Linklater feature, LAST FLAG FLYING for Amazon, opposite Bryan Cranston, Steve Carrell and Laurence Fishburne. LAST FLAG FLYING opened the New York Film Festival in fall of 2017.
